Prescription auxiliary labels are small colored stickers placed on the outside of prescription medication bottles, typically adjacent to the prescription label.
These labels provide important information to patients on a variety of different topics including:
Indication (for cholesterol)
Route of Administration (for external use only)
Administration (take with food)
Precautions (avoid sun exposure)
Drug Side Effects (may cause drowsiness)
Drug Interactions (do not take with nitrates)
Preparation (shake well)
Storage (keep in refrigerator)
Dispensing Information (medication guide included)
Instructions
For each auxiliary label, select an appropriate drug from the drop-down list.
If needed, you may use any drug information resource (e.g. Clinical Pharmacoloyg Online).
When you have selected a drug:
If the grade boxes change from "Ungraded" to "CORRECT" the selection was correct.
If a grade box changes to "ERROR" then the drug selected was not correct.
Note: sometimes the auxiliary label may be appropriate for more than one drug on the list.
Each drug is only used once so find a different drug that would also be appropriate for that label.
After you have selected a different drug, check as before.
When all grade boxes show "CORRECT" you may print a certificate of completion with completion code by clicking the button above.
