Controlled substance drugs are classified into five (5) distinct categories or schedules depending upon the drug's acceptable medical use and the drug's abuse or dependency potential. The lower the schedule number, the higher the abuse or dependency potential

Instructions:
1) Click on the sorting activity icon (to the right)
2) Use Lexicomp online drug identification program to determine the drug name AND DEA schedule for each card.

3) Sort each drug card by draging it into the correct DEA schedule group.
4) You will receive notification of whether you were correct.
Note: while wrong answers need to be corrected to continue the activity, points will not be awarded for correcting that attempt. Press the reset button and repeat the activity if you want to receive full credit. |
